If you are within the boundaries of one of the partner authorities (which are the councils of Glasgow City; South and North Lanarkshire; North, South and East Ayrshire; East and West Dunbartonshire; East Renfrewshire; Renfrewshire; Inverclyde; Angus; Dundee City; Perth & Kinross; Fife; the Scottish Borders; Falkirk; Aberdeenshire and Aberdeen City or Scotland wide for a social economy business) then you can access all the benefits of the SDP.
Events: you are eligible to attend any of our events in any area. We provide events covering many aspects of procurement training from policy workshops to tender writing to seminars and exhibitions bringing you the buyers from many public sector organisations.
Website Information: as a registered supplier you will have access to all the information contained on the website such as buyer listings and contact details, downloadable guides and forthcoming events and on-line booking.
Suppliers Register has three purposes
- For buyers to use as a resource when looking for suppliers, goods and services for instance for a three quote contract.
- For suppliers looking for suitable suppliers to source from or to work with on collaborative bids
- To help us shape a more tailored programme depending on the needs of the member suppliers
Your local council has paid the membership fee for the SDP which means we can roll it out to you free of charge.
If your local authority is not a member you can still register with the SDP. You will have restricted access to the information on the website but you can still view the likes of the tender process, tips on winning tenders and policy guidelines.
