What level is this training seminar?

This is a Level 1 / 2 designed for companies and third sector organisations who do not have the standard required policy documents in place. These workshops are also relevant for companies wishing to update their existing policies.

What do the Policy Workshops cover?

Environmental Policy

The demonstration of environmental commitment has now become increasingly important when tendering for public sector contracts and an environmental policy is now a fundamental requirement. At this half day workshop there will be interactive discussion on environmental issues and tasks to assist you in preparing a written policy for your organisation.

Health & Safety Policy

Business owners must consider the health and safety of themselves, their colleagues and anyone else affected by their work and the way they do it. At this half day workshop on health and safety issues you will increase your awareness and improve your ability in the tendering process.

Equality & Diversity Policy

The promotion of equality and human rights is a task for everyone in society. Businesses, employers, education centres, public authorities and service providers have specific responsibilities to their staff, customers and those under their care. The aim of this workshop is to increase your awareness on equality and diversity issues and to improve your ability in tendering.

Quality Management has become increasingly important when tendering for public sector contracts and being able to demonstrate an effective quality management system is not only a requirement in the tendering process but also a major benefit to your business. This workshop will provide an introduction to quality management and ISO 9001, tips on building an effective management system and information on how to complete quality related tender questions.
