Finding Those Opportunities

The SDP are constantly working to help companies compete for and win those tenders but getting tender ready is only half the job - the other half is finding those opportunities.

Make sure you're subscribed to tender portals such as Public Contracts Scotland and the 2014 Commonwealth Games Business Portal - you can find out more about portals from the SDP.  To help bring these opportunities to you, the SDP are continuing to work with the main contractors of such major builds as the 2014 Commonwealth Games, South Glasgow Hospitals Campus, the Forth Replacement Crossing and South Lanarkshire Council's Primary School Modernisation Programme.  We have already hosted 'Doing Business with...' events with Sir Robert McAlpine, Brookfield, MITIE, Kier Construction, Land Lease and Morgan Sindall.  All these events were very well received and over subscribed.  We will be bringing you more 'Doing Business with...' events in the future but if they're of interest to you then why not go along to 'Working to Win' on the 27th February at the SECC, Glasgow.

The Working to Win event will provide you with valuable insights into the business opportunities, procurement channels and timescales around London 2012 and Glasgow 2014 Games as well as other major sporting events such as the Ryder Cup.  You will hear directly from representatives from Glasgow 2014 Ltd, Glasgow City Council and London 2012, amongst others.  Find out more and book your place.
