Environmental Policy
The demonstration of environmental commitment has now become increasingly important when tendering for public sector contracts and an environmental policy is now a fundamental requirement.
The SDP hosts a half day workshop on Environmental issues and the development of an environmental policy. The aim of this workshop is to increase your environmental awareness and to improve your ability in the tendering process on the basis of environmental credentials.
Within public sector procurement there will be different standards of policy documentation required dependant on value, commodity and buying organisation. Always confirm with the buying organisation the requirements for the tender you are applying for before beginning.
