Quality Management Policy

Quality management standards provide a framework for a business to manage its processes and activities. They can help a business improve its efficiency by providing a best practice model for it to follow, demonstrating that your business will deliver constantly.

The SDP hosts a half day workshop on Quality Management issues and the development of a policy or system. The aim of this workshop is to increase your environmental awareness and to improve your ability in the tendering process on the basis of environmental credentials.

Within public sector procurement there will be a different standard of policy documentation required dependant on the value, commodity and buying organisation. Always confirm with the buying organisation the requirements for the tender you are applying for before beginning.

See 'Related Pages' to take you to our Events Calendar and to view a list of all our events including the policy workshops.

If you would like to be informed when the next event will take place, please email margaret.swinburne@drs.glasgow.gov.uk stating 'Quality Management Policy Workshop'.
