Why did you participate in the Love Me Tender programme?
LHR was seriously in need of updating and gaining further information on public sector tendering and procurement in Scotland and so participated in Love Me Tender. Rules and procedures are changing and this programme was impressive and comprehensive at providing the information.
Though LHR are not dependent or specialising in public sector tendering this course provides useful ongoing background information. It also provides useful information on various stages which can be prepared in anticipation of PQQs and tenders. A good overall course and summary.
With a good overall understanding of public sector tendering and as a procurement practitioner, Maria Weir has a unique perspective on latest developments and openings.
In what way has your tendering process changed/improved?
Information gathered on how to prepare in advance for PQQs - which is very useful since there is a need to be time efficient once the official tendering procedure commences.
Gathered useful information on how procedures are changing within the public sector. I know have a better idea of points on which to focus.
Any tips you would like to share?
Make as many preparations as possible with basic information for submission of PQQs. This is invaluable and allows more time for preparation of actual tender.
