Construction of the Flood Protection Scheme in Broughty Ferry is expected to commence in January 2020.

Dundee City Council is working with the preferred contractor, McLaughlin & Harvey Ltd, to ensure that as many subcontract and supply opportunities are open to the local business community as possible.

Subcontract opportunities will be available in a range of areas including groundworks, concrete works, paving, surfacing, piling, stone masonry, street lighting, flood gates and metalwork.

In order to help raise awareness of the subcontract and supply opportunities which will become available, Dundee City Council and McLaughlin & Harvey Ltd are holding an informal breakfast event at the Broughty Castle Bowling Club. There will be a short presentation on the project, followed by 1 to 1 networking with members of the team.

If your business would like to find out more about Broughty Ferry Flood Protection Scheme, how to become part of the supply chain or a supplier and be considered for appropriate pieces of work then please take time to attend.

The event is free. There is no need to register - just come along on the day. Please note that there is not a dedicated parking area for this venue and parking will be on street.

If you are unable to attend but would still like to register your business to be part of the project, please contact helen.weir@mclh.co.uk.
