The Scottish public sector is being encouraged to ensure its suppliers have appropriate cyber security in place.

In this climate of ever increasing cyber threat, supply chains are often seen as an easy route to attack larger organisations. In light of this, the Scottish Government has developed the Cyber Security Procurement Support Tool (CSPST) which is used by public sector buyers to assess the cyber security of bidding suppliers.

The CSPST Cyber Security Procurement Support Tool  is free for Scottish business to use, and is designed to help you as a supplier to assess your cyber security needs

Once you have entered your answers into the CSPST, they can be reused for contracts with the same/similar risk profiles for any public authority using CSPST. This can significantly reduce the amount of time spent answering questions on cyber resilience overall.
