High-speed broadband promised in extra 360,000 premises
Rural Economy and Connectivity Secretary Fergus Ewing said: “The Scottish government has put digital connectivity at the heart of its agenda, recognising that broadband is vital to the sustainability of our economy and communities.”
The plans will see fibre optic broadband delivered to both urban and rural areas. A total of 125,000 premises in areas including Kilmarnock, Ayr, Prestwick, Dunfermline, Dalgety Bay and Inverkeithing will benefit.
