Angus Council has number of contact opportunities open for bidders.

Are you a business or social enterprise based in Angus or the surrounding area?  Angus Council has the following contract opportunities.

Provision of Lone Working App and Devices

 A Prior Information Notice has been published on Public Contracts Scotland by the Council who require a combination of a Lone Working App and/or Lone Working Devices for a variety of services and workers across numerous departments.  

Staff safety will be at the forefront of any solution or device and something that will mitigate risk where possible to offer staff a safer working environment in varying job roles across numerous council department and teams. Due to the rural nature of Angus, any APP or device would need the functionality to work for example, where there is potentially no immediate GPS signal to use.

Whilst the council has no immediate figures for their requirements, it is likely to run into the hundreds and the council is currently carrying out a scoping exercise with all interested internal departments to ascertain exact numbers, requirements, risks and outcomes to be achieved by any APP or device provided.

The second opportunity is for the Tender for the Supply of Local Bus Services for May 2025.

 Tenders are being sought for contracted local bus services in Angus. The tender will be divided into several lots. Operators may bid for as many of these routes as they wish.

Full details are in the Contract Notice published on Public Contracts Scotland and bidders  are advised to allow adequate time for uploading documents and to dispatch the electronic response well in advance of the closing time to avoid any last minute problems.
