CivTech Challenge 10.2: Scottish Fire & Rescue Service

The Scottish Fire & Rescue service, a member of the Supplier Development Programme (SDP), is keen to understand how technology can identify and measure firefighter’s exposure to contaminants.

CivTech is a Scottish Government programme that brings the public, private and third sectors together to build things that make people’s lives better. CivTech take Challenges faced by government departments, public sector organisations and charities, and invite anyone with a brilliant idea to work hand-in-hand with them to create a solution.

As part of challenge 10.2, from CivTech’s Round 10 Challenges, Scottish Fire and Rescue Services (SFRS) is keen to find out how technology can identify and measure firefighter exposure to contaminants across a wide range of incidents.

This is a great opportunity for Scottish SMEs and Third Sector, with new and innovative ideas to take on a Challenge, and potentially win contracts with a blue-chip public sector organisation. You’ll build a product, and a business to take it as far as possible.

Scottish Fire and Rescue Services have published a Prior Information Notices (PIN) for this challenge on Public Contracts Scotland. The estimated value of this contract is £650,000.
