Clackmannanshire Council Invites Suppliers to Bid for Leadership and Development Pathways Contract Opportunity

Clackmannanshire Council has announced a Development and Delivery of Leadership and Development Pathways contract opportunity that is seeking external partners to assist with the development and delivery of bespoke leadership development programmes for Senior, Middle and First Line Management groups of staff.

The contract will have multi-supplier Lots, the Lot structure is as follows:

  • Lot 1 will be aimed at Senior Managers, with a view to creating a strong legacy of effective and supportive management practice within the council.
  • Lot 2 will be focused on the development of their Middle Managers, who have a unique role in navigating and managing a complex blend of operational issues, whilst embedding the principles and vision of the Council through their own leadership skills.
  • Lot 3 will be aimed at First Line Managers, and those with supervisory or charge hand roles. The programme will focus on practical management skills including self-management, developing people and relationships, and delivering results.

The Clackmannanshire Council wishes to gain a great understanding of the market appetite for provision of truly innovative and collaborative Leadership programmes, particularly in the light of recent COVID-19 pandemic. The Council is looking for partners who can provide modern solutions focused on promoting collaboration and innovation between managers, and which will assist with creating the conditions for change required to transform the Council, and assist with recovery from the recent Coronavirus pandemic while keeping in line with their ‘Be the Future’ programme.

The estimated date of publication of contract notice is on 1 April 2021. Interested suppliers are asked to note interest on Clackmannanshire Council’s Prior Information Notice (PIN) on the Public Contracts Scotland website in advance.
