Commercial and Procurement Shared Services Launch Joint Procurement Strategy Consultation

The Commercial Procurement Shared Services has launched a supplier consultation to support the revision of the joint procurement strategy across the three councils.
The Commercial and Procurement Shared Services is revising the joint procurement strategy across the three councils, Aberdeen City, Aberdeenshire, and The Highland Council.
The joint procurement strategy aims to set out the procurement and commercial objectives and proposed actions for 2023 through 2026, reflective of both local and national policies and priorities for Aberdeen City, Aberdeenshire and The Highland Council. A consultation has been launched to ensure all three Councils satisfy the requirements set out within public procurement legislation in Scotland.
Have your Say!
Are you a supplier based in Aberdeen City, Aberdeenshire or Highland Council? In line with Scottish public procurement legislation, the Commercial and Procurement Shared Services is eager to hear the views of local suppliers and other individuals that the Council's procurement activity may impact, on the Draft Procurement Strategy and its targets.
Please complete the survey by close of business on Friday 12 May, and return it by e-mail to cpssprocurement@aberdeencity.gov.uk.
The final strategy is set to be considered for approval by each Council in Summer 2023 and is estimated to be implemented by the end of 2024.
