Shetland Islands Publishes Time Charter Tug Hire Opportunity

Shetland Islands Council has a supply contract for the provision of a time charter tug hire, for the Port of Sullom Voe, of suitable technical specification and class, to meet the needs of the Council in Towage operations.

The estimated value of the contract is £350, 000 (excluding VAT).

Time limit for receipt of tenders or requests to participate in this contract is 11 March 2025, 12 noon.

The contract will be for a period of 50 days initially (to commence 9am on 27 March 2025) with the option to extend for a further 14 days.

Submissions will be considered from Shipbrokers and Vessel Owners and a ‘United Kingdom Standard Conditions For Towage and Other Services (Revised 2024)’ form of Contract will be used. 

The main place of performance will be Port of Sullom Voe, Shetland Islands.
