SMEs and Cyber Threats

According to a new report published by Association of Business Insurers (ABI), SMEs generally consider themselves too small to be targeted by cyber criminals and, as a result, are not taking the relevant steps to mitigate the risk of a cyber attack.

ABI suggests there is a severe cyber protection gap in the SME sector, making small businesses an easier and more attractive target for cyber criminals. As a result, Scottish SMEs are being urged to take action to avoid threats from cyber criminals.

Cyber Security Support Available From SDP

The Supplier Development Programme (SDP) has partnered with Police Scotland to host a webinar, showing Scottish SMEs how the FREE ‘CyberAlarm Digital Tool’ can help your business monitor threats from cyber criminals.
