What Do You Need to Know about The Procurement Act 2023?

From 24 February 2025, all public procurement contracts and notices will be published on the new Find a Tender Service (FTS) platform. This digital platform will become the central hub for accessing public sector opportunities across England and Wales. To bid for contracts under the new rules, suppliers must register on the Find a Tender Service. 

Why the Procurement Act 2023 Matters

The Procurement Act 2023 is a significant step in public procurement across England and Wales. For suppliers, it streamlines access to opportunities, enhances transparency, and simplifies the bidding process. 

Key Dates

Onboarding for contracting authorities will begin from 27 January 2025. This is being co-ordinated across the public sector through implementation leads and sectoral leads.

Suppliers will be able to register on the platform from 24 February 2025.
