Dumfries and Galloway Council Reviews Local Biodiversity Action Plan and Forestry and Woodland Strategy

Dumfries and Galloway Council have published two Prior Information Notices, one on its local Biodiversity Action Plan (LBAP) and another on its Forestry and Woodland Strategy.Dumfries & Galloway Council

Review of the Dumfries and Galloway Local Biodiversity Action Plan (LBAP)

The overarching aim of the project is to update Dumfries and Galloways Council LBAP documents.

Estimated value of the contract is £30, 000 (excluding VAT).

The estimated date for the publication of the contract notice is 2/06/2025.

The Council is working towards current legislative changes, regional priorities and community aspirations, and to help the Council and its communities respond to the dual challenge of climate change and biodiversity loss.

The contracts are anticipated to run from April 2025 to November 2025.

The overarching aim of the project is to update FWS documents to reflect the Council Plan.

Estimated value of the contract is £30, 000 (excluding VAT).

The estimated date for the publication of the contract notice is 2/06/2025.
