Premier Publishing & Events will be hosting the Manufacturing & Supply Chain Conference & Exhibition event on 13 October at the SEC Glasgow.

The event is being organised to successfully connect key stakeholders across the full manufacturing spectrum in Scotland, including food and drink, energy, renewables, electronics, aerospace, biopharma, medtech, healthcare, construction, textiles, procurement, and precision engineering sectors.

The Manufacturing & Supply Chain Conference & Exhibition event will serve as a national forum for manufacturers and operators involved throughout the associated supply chains from across Scotland to gather to discuss pressing issues facing the industry.

This event is part of the Scottish Governments plans to improve productivity and increase investment in the manufacturing industry, as a means of helping to redress regional imbalances, and to grow the Scottish economy. Initiatives such as the development of the National Manufacturing Institute for Scotland (NMIS) and the Medicines Manufacturing Innovation Centre (MMIC) are helping to drive innovation, establish links with academia and encourage businesses to harness new technologies to enhance efficiency.
