Attendees will also have a chance to network with other public sector exhibitors including Scottish Government, Scotland Excel, Dumfries and Galloway Council, Eildon Housing Association, Scottish Borders Housing Association, and Waverly Housing Association.
Several private sector organisations will also be exhibiting on the day, including Balfour Beatty, BAM, hub North Scotland, Morrison Construction, Ogilvie Construction, RJ McLeod and Fred.Olsen Renewables, to discuss upcoming projects and supply chain opportunities in the North of Scotland.
On the day, suppliers will have the opportunity to learn about the business support available to you from the Supplier Development Programme, Business Gateway/South of Scotland Enterprise, and Just Enterprise.
Gillian Cameron, Programme Manager, Supplier Development Programme, said:
“Meet the Buyer South is an unmissable opportunity for businesses in the South of Scotland to spend one day out of the office, meeting buyers and contractors, to promote their goods and services.”
“This year, we are delighted to welcome East Lothian and Midlothian Councils as exhibitors, and encourage local businesses based in these areas, to book their free place to attend this year’s event.”
“The South of Scotland is open for business, and small businesses no doubt will benefit from the opportunities that will arise from this event on 29th October.”
