NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde Seeks Qualitative Health Needs Assessment Provider

NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde (NHS GGC) wish to commission an organisation to undertake the needs assessment, including its design, delivery and reporting in a way appropriate to its setting, taking cognisance of the importance of trauma informed principles and practice. NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde

People in contact with any aspect of the justice system are more likely than the general population to have significant health and social care needs and face barriers to accessing services. The Vision for Justice in Scotland recognises “we will experience a reduction in crime and unintentional harm in our communities, improving all of our life chances by tackling societal issues like poverty, including child poverty, mental ill health, addiction and adverse childhood experiences.”

This gateway, developed through requests from suppliers seeking opportunities to support the delivery of community benefits within the contracting region, provides information on community benefit opportunities. The CBG is a free and easy to use online service that connects NHS Scotland suppliers with third sector community organisations within Scotland and will be used for tracking and reporting and is an approved compliant route to the realisation of community benefits.
