Scottish Procurement Alliance - Pre-tender Engagement for upcoming Door sets, Fire Doors, Communal Doors and Access Controls (FD9) Framework

Door sets, Fire Doors, Communal Entrance Doors and Access Controls (FD9) is one of SPA’s upcoming Framework Agreements and they are looking for suppliers to support the development of this framework via a pre-tender engagement session.

If you can provide works or services that are relevant to this framework, SPA would encourage you to attend their in-person pre-tender engagement session to learn more about the depth and opportunities available. Your attendance will provide SPA with valuable insight guided by your expertise that will help them shape the framework to be a robust and comprehensive offering for both our partners and suppliers.

The pre-tender engagement workshops are a platform to voice your opinion on the structure of the framework and hear first-hand about our procurement solutions under development.

The framework is the next iteration of SPA’s current Door sets, Fire Doors, Communal Entrance Doors and Access Controls framework (C8).   At this stage, SPA is currently proposing the framework covers the below areas, however this is subject to change depending on the feedback received at both supplier and partner pre-tender engagement sessions:

• Composite Fire Doors
• Timber Doors
• Timber Fire Doors
• Communal Entrance & Exit Doors
• Access Controls
• Repairs and Maintenance

SPA currently anticipate that the Invitation to Tender for this framework will be released in August 2025.
