Public sector buyers are increasingly expecting their suppliers to provide low carbon goods, services and works, and deliver circular solutions.

Bidders should expect to see public sector contracts and quick quotes advertised which include more clauses and questions regarding the ways your business will reduce its carbon footprint and meet climate change targets.

To support you on your Net Zero journey, businesses in Scotland who would like to purchase a used electric or hydrogen vehicle can get an interest free loan of up to £90,000 for limited companies and up to £75,000 for sole traders or partnerships.

The Energy Saving Trust who administers the scheme, can help your business make the switch by starting with a used electric or hydrogen vehicle.

Full information on grants and loans available to your business can be found here.

Do you need support, as a bidder, in showing how your business can offer low carbon and circular solutions?

Why not join a free 'Getting Your Business Tender Ready - The Checklist' webinar on 28 June? SDP's expert trainer will walk you through a “bidding checklist” of all the key information, processes and policies that your business must have in place prior to bidding.
