South Lanarkshire - Bidder Information Session for the Provision of Vehicle Body Repairs.

South Lanarkshire Council has begun the process of renewing its Framework Agreement for the Provision of Vehicle Body Repairs.

The provision shall include Vehicle Body Repairs to the Council’s fleet of approximately 1700 vehicles. All Vehicle Body Repairs shall be covered by those contractors appointed to the Framework Agreement as the Council does not have an in house facility to undertake this requirement.

The Framework Agreement will be split into each of the following categories of vehicle:-

  • Cars / Car Derived Vans (to typically include all cars, small trailers, small, medium vans
  • Light Goods Vehicles (LGV) up to 3,500kg
  • Goods Vehicles/Passenger Vehicles in excess of 3500kg
  • Buses
  • Plant

Full details of the Council’s requirements including any minimum requirements will be contained within the full Contract Notice which will be available in due course.

Bidder Information Session

A Bidder Information Session will take place on Tuesday 26 June 2018, from 02:00p.m. to 04:00p.m. in Commitee Room 2, Almada Street, Hamilton, ML3 0AA. If you are interested in attending this event, which will provide information on the Framework and the tender process, please contact mailto:peter.cannon@southlanarkshire.gov.uk to register for the event.

A further PCS-Tender supplier event will take place where bidders will be given the opportunity to use Council PC’s to assist in submitting bids. There will also be representatives from the Supplier Development team present to answer any questions you may have about operating the PCS-Tender system.
