Cyber Resilience - Helping You Meet the Requirements of Public Sector Tendering

Scot Gov LogoCyber Scotland Week is a week-long event run by the Scottish Government from 26 February to 3 March 2024 which aims to raise awareness of good cyber resilience practices.

The Scottish public sector is being encouraged to ensure its suppliers have appropriate cyber security in place.

In this climate of ever-increasing cyber threat, supply chains are often seen as an easy route to attack larger organisations. The Scottish Government’s Cyber Security Procurement Support Tool (CSPST) is used by public sector buyers to assess the cyber security of bidding suppliers.

The CSPST - Cyber Security Procurement Support Tool is free for Scottish business to use, and is designed to help you, as a supplier to assess your cyber security needs.

Once you have entered your answers into the CSPST, they can be reused for contracts with the same/similar risk profiles for any public authority using CSPST. This can significantly reduce the amount of time spent answering questions on cyber resilience overall. The question set was updated March 2023 and so worth going back to check that you can meet the requirements!
