Meet the Buyer South 2022

Together with headline partners South of Scotland Enterprise (SOSE), Scottish Borders Council, Dumfries and Galloway Council, and the Scottish Government, the Supplier Development Programme has announced the first ever Meet the Buyer South event on 4 October 2022.

Suppliers will be able to meet procurement teams from local authorities in the South of Scotland, alongside other public and private sector buying organisations, and can also find out how to become 'tender ready' for bid writing for these many opportunities through free training from the Supplier Development Programme.

Meet the Buyer South event aims to help local businesses find out what contract opportunities are available both within the three councils, local supply chains, and further afield across a range of sectors. Participants will explore how to do business with public sector buyers and gain an operational understanding of how to become part of supply chains.

The format and agenda for the day are being developed and will be announced in due course.
