Join us for Meet the Buyer 2023, Scotland’s largest Meet the Buyer event, at the Edinburgh Conference Centre (EIIC) on 17 May!  Meet the Buyer 2023 is hosted by the Supplier Development Programme and officially supported by the Scottish Government, with headline partners Scotland Excel and the UK Department for Transport, and headline sponsor Elcom.

Come along to meet with procurement teams, buyers and supply chains to learn about upcoming projects and tender opportunities locally, nationally within Scotland and across the UK.

Now in its 14th annual year, Scotland's national Meet the Buyer event is taking place as a fully in-person event at the Edinburgh International Conference Centre on 17 May 2023.

The theme for this year’s event is, “Open for Business,” and this is exactly your business will get with public sector contracts – a chance to contribute towards improve our economy, society and the environment.

A national event with a local buying focus

This free event gives suppliers access to buyers and decision makers from organisations across the public and private sectors. You'll have the chance to introduce your company, talk to the key contacts and find out about any tenders and projects buyers have in the pipeline for both local and national businesses.

Meet the Buyer can help your micro, small and medium business get into public sector supply chains. SMEs will be given the chance to meet buyers connected to public sector projects that are looking to support local businesses and Community Wealth Building.

Meet the Buyer 2023 is aimed towards micro, small and medium sized businesses from across Scotland. However, all are welcome! Wherever you are based, and however big your business is, there is something useful to be found at this national Meet the Buyer event!

Not sure if your business’ products and services have a place in public and private sector procurement? You may be able to provide peripheral products and services nearby - for example, MOTs, food and drink, cleaning services, security services, local B&Bs, grounds maintenance.
