Ayrshire Community Wealth Building (CWB) Gathering

The Ayrshire Growth Deal Community Wealth Building (CWB) Programme is a 3-year pan-Ayrshire programme and one of the first joined up, regional CWB approaches to enterprise support in Scotland. Since 2021, the programme team has worked with over 700 local organisations across Ayrshire to embed Community Wealth Building, promoting benefits in economic sustainability, inclusivity, equality, tackling the cost crisis and so many other issues our local areas face. 

Businesses and social enterprise based in and around the Ayrshire locale are invited to participate in the Ayrshire Community Wealth Building (CWB) Gathering.

The event will be a chance to learn from local organisational leaders on the benefits of local wealth building in Ayrshire, including a map of procurement spend information, best practice CWB examples and a session exploring the future opportunities and challenges of Artificial Intelligence (AI).

After inspiring talks and sessions, you can immerse yourself in a funding and CWB marketplace, enjoy a locally sourced lunch and take the opportunity to strengthen your local network and supply chain.

 Talks will take place across the morning, from 10:00 to 12:30 and the networking lunch and CWB marketplace will take place from 12:30 – 14:00.

The Supplier Development Programme team will be in attendance offering information about their range of free tender training and support.
