Collaborating with other businesses can bring a number of benefits such as enhanced profile, shared resources and knowledge, and the reduction of costs and risk when exploring new markets and innovations. Increasingly, businesses are also coming together to access larger contracts.
A consortium co-operative is one of the options open to businesses considering collaboration.
In a consortium co-operative, members work together for a common goal whilst retaining their own brands, identities, and control. Members can be limited companies, partnerships or individuals and the membership can be of any size but works best for three or more businesses.
During this webinar we will explore:
- What is a ‘Consortium’
- Key features of this business model
- Structure of collaborative working
- Benefits of a co-operative bid and collaborative working
- How to create an incorporated consortium company
- Case studies of successful consortium bids
- Learn about the support available for businesses wishing to formally collaborate as a consortium co-operative.
You can attend the webinar from the comfort of your own desk – the joining instructions and link will be contained within the booking confirmation email received at time of booking.
To prepare, you can access SDP’s top tips on how to join a webinar, or alternatively please email info@sdpscotland.co.uk if you have any further questions about the joining process if you have any further questions about the joining process.
