    Jacqueline will open the session with a brief overview of Stirling Council’s approach to procurement and sustainability, and outline the aims of the event.
  • 16:35: Writing the Sustainability Section of Your Tender: What Stirling Council Looks For - Dion Robb, Procurement Specialist, Stirling Council
    Dion will break down what makes a strong sustainability response in public sector tenders. Expect practical advice and examples of what the Council is looking for in supplier submissions.
  • 16:50: Future Contracting Opportunities: A Sustainability Perspective – Roz Smith, Strategic Energy Team Leader, Stirling Council
    Roz will highlight upcoming procurement opportunities and explain how sustainability considerations are shaping future contracts across the region.
  • 17:05: Available Training and Support for Sustainable Practices – Thomas Billam, Net Zero Business Support Officer, Scotland’s International Environment Centre (SIEC)
    Thomas will share details of free and funded support available to help businesses embed sustainable practices, reduce emissions and meet tender expectations.
  • 17:20: Introduction to Public Contracts Scotland – Gillian Cameron, Supplier Development Programme
    The Supplier Development Programme will provide an introduction to using Public Contracts Scotland – the national portal for public sector contract opportunities. This session will cover how to register, search for relevant opportunities, and set up alerts to maximise tender success.
  • 17:20: Q&A and Closing Remarks – Hosted by STEP
    A chance to ask questions, clarify key points and hear final reflections on how local businesses can position themselves for sustainable success in public contracts.
  • 17:30: Networking Session
