Forestry and Land Scotland (FLS) manages a large number of buildings (including offices, stores, workshops, deer larders and visitor provisions) across Scotland and requires contractors to provide buildings maintenance and improvement works across the estate. FLS currently has framework agreements in place which are due to expire. The current Buildings Maintenance framework consists of 4 Lots (North, East, South, West) covering FLS assets across Scotland and is appointed to all-trades contractors.

FLS has a requirement to establish a framework agreement with external contractors to maintain its buildings to a safe and legally compliant condition as well as providing upgrades and improvements. The framework agreement will provide a compliant route to market for FLS to procure the works from a list of pre-approved contractors and replace the current framework agreement.

The duration of the framework agreement will be 4 years with no optional extension periods. The framework agreement will cover FLS’s buildings across Scotland and consists of 8 Lots. FLS will be appointing a maximum of 3 contractors to each Lot. The total value of the framework agreement has been estimated at £7,533,000.00 excluding VAT, over 4 years. The lotting structure and estimated value per Lot is:

£ 300,000.00 – Lot 1 (North Highland)

£1,450,000.00 – Lot 2 (South Highland)

£ 500,000.00 – Lot 3 (North East)

£ 500,000.00 – Lot 4 (East)

£1,413,000.00 – Lot 5 (West)

£1,170,000.00 – Lot 6 (Central)

£1,650,000.00 – Lot 7 (South West)

£ 550,000.00 – Lot 8 (South East)

Anyone interested in bidding for the Framework Agreement is welcome to attend.
