Talking Tenders with Strathclyde Partnership Transport (SPT)

Strathclyde Partnership for Transport (SPT) runs the Glasgow Subway, provides subsidised Local Bus services and is responsible for delivering School Transport on behalf of local authorities in West Central Scotland.

There are approximately 500 School Transport contracts due to expire at the end of June 2023, and SPT intends to advertise these to tender in mid-January 2023. In advance of this, SPT is participating in a “Talking Tenders” webinar hosted by the Supplier Development Programme (SDP).

Senior Procurement Officer Kenny Govan will discuss the changes to the current procurement processes with the businesses and organisations that are already awarded a place on an SPT School Transport DPS, to ensure that suppliers don’t miss the opportunity to bid and are aware of the alterations to the tender, the evaluation methodology and the award of these contracts. There will also be an opportunity for suppliers to ask questions during the live webinar.
