Co-operative Development Scotland Launches Community Wealth Building Webinars
With the increased focus on Community Wealth Building (CWB) in public sector procurement, The Supplier Development Programme was delighted to see Co-operative Development Scotland launch its latest diet of CWB webinars this Autumn.
Running from October 2023 – February 2024, the webinars encourage stakeholders across the supply chain to incorporate greater corporate social responsibility into their procurement processes.
People from all areas of business are welcome to join the webinars, including those from the private sector, local authorities, enterprise agencies and Third Sector Interfaces. The webinars are specifically targeted at decision makers and community advisors.
During the sessions, Co-operative Development Scotland will look at the five pillars of activity associated with Community Wealth Building, including, Spending/Procurement, Workforce, Land and Property, Plural Ownership, and Finance, explaining how these can help shape a fairer economy.
SDP will be taking part in the 28 November and 5 March sessions on Spending/Procurement, and the team look forward to seeing you there!
