New Scottish framework opportunity for the Supply & Distribution of Milk

Scotland Excel has published on Public Contracts Scotland its Prior Information Notice (PIN) in relation to a new framework opportunity for the Supply & Distribution of Milk.

It is anticipated that the scope of products covered under the framework will include a range of dairy products including but not limited to whole milk, semi-skimmed milk, skimmed milk, and fresh creams. These products are for, but not limited to schools, nurseries, council buildings.

Tenderers will be able to bid for one, any, or all local authority areas, where applicable. However please note, the lot structure is still to be confirmed and is therefore subject to change.

Lot No: 1 Fresh Milk

Lot No: 2 Organic Milk and Alternative Substitutes.

Scotland Excel envisages publishing a future tender opportunity on behalf of all 32 local authorities, together with any Integration Authority, or other body, established pursuant to the Public Bodies (Joint Working) (Scotland) Act 2014.

At this stage there is an opportunity for all interested parties to meet with Scotland Excel to discuss the upcoming framework. We would like to invite suppliers to contact Scotland Excel to arrange an individual meeting to take place over Microsoft Teams.
