NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde Asset Disposal & Resale Service Contract Opportunity

NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde (NHSGGC)has published a tender for an Asset Disposal & Resale Service and  is looking to work in partnership with an auction/disposal company for guidance and advice on best practice of disposing of the Assets it no longer requires.

Assets include but are not limited to Medical Equipment, Catering Equipment, IT Equipment and Diagnostic Equipment.

 

This tender is split into two lots.

Lot One: Medical Equipment, Diagnostics Equipment and Catering Equipment.

The equipment requirement to be uplift within this Lot will include but will not be limited to:

Anaesthesia machine, Beta Counters, Centrifuge, Coagulation analyser, Colposcopy Equipment, CPAP/Humidifier, Defibrillator, DEXA scanners Diagnostic Ultrasound with probes, ECG/EKG, Electrosurgical Unit, Endoscopy system – scope, insufflator, light source, Feeding Pump, Foetal Doppler, Foetal Monitor, Gamma Cameras, Gamma Counters, Image Intensifiers, Infant Incubator, Infant Warmer, Infusion Pump, Laryngoscope, Nebulizer, Nerve stimulator, Ophthalmic Equipment – slit lamp, surgical scope, Otoscope/Ophthalmoscope, Oxygen Concentrator, Patient Warmer, Pulse Oximeter, Sequential Compression Device, Surgical Microscope, Surgical Table – surgical and delivery, Thermometer, Traction Unit, Ventilator and Vital Sign Monitor and catering equipment.

Lot Two Information Technology (I.T.) Equipment. *

Equipment may include but not limited to functioning and non-functioning: Desktop / Laptop Computers / Computer parts; Tablet Devices / accessories; Servers; Monitors / FTF Displays; Printers /Printer Trays / Printer Parts / accessories; Scanners; Analogue / IP / Mobile Phones; Faxes; Network equipment including switches; Hard Disks / Data Storage Devices and Media; Power/Display/Network Cables; Computer accessories, including keyboards and mice, mice ND; Boxed unused equipment / accessories

*NHSGGC will reserve Lot 2 for Supported Businesses in line with Article 19 of the EU public procurement directive enacted in Regulation 7 of the Public Contracts (Scotland) Regulation 2012) and The Procurement Reform (Scotland) Act 2014

Bidders who are not supported businesses will not be considered for Lot 2.

Lot 2 is a Zero Cost Contract. NHSGGC will incur no costs resulting from the provision of this service.
