Lanarkshire Meet the "Real" Buyer 2021

Jointly hosted by North Lanarkshire and South Lanarkshire Councils, and supported by Supplier Development Programme, the Lanarkshire Meet the “Real” Buyer event is scheduled as a fully virtual, online event on Tuesday, 30 November 2021.

This Meet the Buyer event affords suppliers that wish to do business in Lanarkshire unprecedented access to leading contractors and local authority services that commission the actual work and hear more about the upcoming contracts that businesses can tender for in the future. You will have the opportunity to raise your profile as a business and prepare for upcoming contract opportunities, all from the comfort of your own screen. Businesses will also be able to meet procurement teams from a variety of other public and private sector organisations.

This is not just another Zoom meeting, Google Meet, or Microsoft Teams Meeting - there is an exciting agenda with speakers throughout the day. Suppliers can ask their questions and have them answered in live Q&A sessions, and you'll also hear about top tips for tendering from the Supplier Development Programme. Businesses also be able to virtually visit exhibition stands, download information and speak directly on a one-to-one basis with buyers via in-built video conferencing.

All Scottish SME are welcome to attend, however, this Meet the "Real" Buyer event will be of particular interest to businesses based in Lanarkshire and the surrounding areas.

Non-SME suppliers are also eligible to attend and must register an account with SDP to book a place.
