1.2 Using PCS & PCS-Tender - South Ayrshire Council Minor Works Framework Agreement

South Ayrshire Council will shortly be going out to tender for Minor Works Framework Agreement (Domestic Properties)  for a variety of local trades (including e.g. joinery, electrical, glazing, plumbing, plastering, roofing, flooring etc)

To support businesses and social enterprises that may have never or have limited experience in bidding for a contract, South Ayrshire Council is working with the Supplier Development Programme to hold a dedicated tender training session, delivered by webinar to help you apply and bid for this contract opportunity.

Sole traders and small businesses are particularly encouraged to attend, as this Framework Agreement is likely to cover:

• Builders work
• Glazing Repairs
• Joinery
• Painter work
• Plasterwork
• Plumbing
• Roofing
• General tarmacadam and associated works including supply and fit of kerbs and laying and rolling of basecourse and surface course to footpaths and general areas
• Electrical Works
• Flooring
• A "Super Lot" which will be used when two disciplines or more are required for any works

Potential bidders will be trained on how to access this tender in real-time. This will include how to register/login to Public Contracts Scotland (PCS), to find this South Ayrshire Council (SAC) contract notice and follow the buyer’s instructions to access the tender documents in Public Contracts Scotland-Tender (PCS-T). The session will also cover expert help on accessing the tender documents / each of the envelopes and access the buyers’ questions, the buyer attachments, demonstrate the Q&A functionality plus show how to upload supporting documents and how to submit your bidder response.
