East Ayrshire Council, North Ayrshire Council and South Ayrshire Council, in partnership with the Supplier Development Programme, will host the 2021 Ayrshire Meet the Buyer event online on Wednesday, 28 April.
Suppliers will be able to meet procurement teams from the three Ayrshire councils, alongside other public and private sector buying organisations, and can also find out how to become 'tender ready' for bid writing for these many opportunities through free training from the Supplier Development Programme.
Suppliers will be able to virtually visit exhibition stands, download information and speak directly on a one-to-one basis with buyers via in-built video conferencing.
This year's Ayrshire Meet the Buyer event aims to help local businesses find out what contract opportunities are available both within the three councils, local supply chains, and further afield across a range of sectors. Participants will explore how to do business with public sector buyers and gain an operational understanding of how to become part of supply chains.
