Diversifying the NHS Supply Chain: Staff/Buyer Side Webinar
Thursday 5 May 2022, 2:00-3:30pm
Background to the event
As Scotland’s biggest health board and a significant contributor to the local economy, NHS Lanarkshire has a duty to ensure that its spending power brings greater benefits for all of its communities. NHS Lanarkshire has engaged with the Supplier Development Programme, which actively supports community wealth building initiatives by providing crucial assistance to local businesses to bid for public sector contracts and supply chain opportunities.
This will help NHS Lanarkshire progress towards putting diversity at the core of NHS Lanarkshire's supply chain to include businesses led by, for, and with people with protected characteristics.
This webinar will provide NHS Lanarkshire staff with an overview of the project, and help gain an understanding of what NHS Lanarkshire can do to increase the potential for small and medium sized businesses to bid and to identify upcoming contracts that would be suitable for wider engagement of such businesses.
