Forestry and Land Scotland (FLS) - Timber Haulage Tender Opportunity

Forestry and Land Scotland (FLS) is seeking suppliers for the up-and-coming Timber Haulage Services contact opportunity.

FLS has a requirement for the haulage of small round wood timber from five regions to various mills across the UK. This tender will be divided into lots and the contract notice is expected to be published on Public Contracts Scotland in January 2024.

FLS will deliver:

• An overview of key changes around the lotting structure, lot limits etc.
• An overview of Community Benefits and Emissions Reporting requirements
• An overview of Contract Management and KPIs.

Tendering Training covered by SDP

An SDP expert trainer will walk through the tender journey as a potential bidder, to search for and find this FLS – Timber Haulage contract notice using PCS. They will then follow the buyer instruction to access the tender documents in PCS-t, including the Single Procurement Document (SPD) to explore the questions asked by the buyer, giving you hints and tips on 'what good looks like' with regards to providing evidence and how to fully answer each question to gain full marks.

Using both the Public Contracts Scotland (PCS) & Public Contracts Scotland-tender( PCS-t) portals, we will demonstrate how to communicate with the buyer to ask questions throughout the tender process, plus how to upload documents and submit your response. All of this is to ensure that there are no surprises for you when you are bidding for this framework.
