This session is aimed at organisations which intend to apply to Lot 3 (relating to disability). We are keen to ensure that our approach to this lot is regarded as appropriate by these organisations and we are open to discussion about this.
The Scottish Government intends to establish a Participation Framework Agreement to support our commitment to increasing the use of participatory processes and to establish a person-centered approach across government.
As outlined in the Prior Information Notice, it is expected that appointed suppliers to the Framework will have the skills and expertise to engage with a broad range of people, with particular representation of those identified as being seldom heard and furthest from decision making.
Appointed suppliers will support the Scottish Government to engage individuals on decisions, services, policies and legislation through a variety of participatory and deliberative methods.
The purpose of this supplier engagement event is to meet with organisations interested in bidding on the Framework, to ensure we create a Participation Framework Agreement that supports organisations to deliver high quality participatory work with adults. We want to understand the sector, to inform the development of the Framework specification.

This session will signpost to support available from the Supplier Development Programme, for organisations less familiar with Scottish Government procurement.
There will be an opportunity to ask questions to Scottish Government staff developing the Framework Agreement.
The webinar will cover:
- An introduction to the proposed Participation Framework Agreement, including tender requirements and expectations of suppliers (e.g. skills and expertise)
- Overview of key themes from responses shared by organisations via the Request for Information Survey (published alongside the Prior Information Notice on Public Contracts Scotland), and remaining questions
- Q&A
