Talking Tenders with Nature Scot

To meet Scotland’s ambitious targets for restoring 250,000Ha of peatland by 2030, there is a need to increase the skilled workforce available to do this work.

In order to increase the local contractor capacity to carry out peatland restoration, this contract on Invercauld Estate is being offered to new entrants who wish to learn techniques and gain experience. The work is primarily drain blocking.

The site visit takes place on Thursday 23^rd May and it is strongly recommended that all prospective bidders take the opportunity to visit the site that day, in advance of this tendering session on Friday 24^th May.
