Talking Tenders with NHS Lanarkshire - Electrical and Plumbing Frameworks

NHS Lanarkshire is renewing the tender for both its Electrical Contracting Framework and Plumbing Contracting Framework, in conjunction with NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde and NHS Golden Jubilee. Both frameworks will cover planned and reactive works including new installations and the maintenance of existing installations.

Both of the frameworks will be split into two Lots. Suppliers will be able to bid on one or both Lots, the Lots are as follows:

  • Lot 1 - NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde and NHS Golden Jubilee Nation Hospital (6 Unranked suppliers)
  • Lot 2 - NHS Lanarkshire (3 Ranked Suppliers)

The NHS Boards are looking for contractors that can provide high-quality, reliable, efficient and cost effective services. Suppliers should join this session as it will cover cover both stages of the tender process, but will have a particular focus on the initial stage regarding the Single Procurement Document (SPD).

Suppliers can also access the tender documents for each framework for more information including:

  • Specification of work required including timescales for callouts and an overview of sites covered under the framework.
  • The threshold values for framework call offs
  • Terms and Conditions
  • Evaluation Criteria

At this session, you will hear from representatives from NHS Lanarkshire who will provide more information on both frameworks. In the second half of the session, one of SDP's expert trainers will show suppliers how to access and respond to the tender documents.
