Doors open for Meet the Buyer 2023 on Wednesday, 17 May, at the Edinburgh International Conference Centre (EICC) at 10:00 am. We encourage you to plan your day in advance!

Plan Your Visit

With over 50 exhibitors from across the public and private sectors in attendance and an action-packed agenda across both the Power of Procurement Stage and the UK Department for Transport Stage, SDP recommends planning your visit before your arrival.

Check out the packed Agenda on the SDP website to help you plan your visit. Please note: Speakers on the Power of Procurement Stage will be recorded, speakers on the UK Department for Transport will not.

Top Tip: SDP recommends that your business makes the best decision for you, keeping in mind that the Power of Procurement presentations will be available online in the days following the event.

Queues!

With over 2,000 suppliers registered to attend Meet the Buyer 2023 on 17 May, please be aware on arrival that we anticipate large queues and at peak times, there will be long wait times for registration.

To minimise registration waiting times, it is essential that you register for a free SDP account and book your place before arriving at the venue. It is also vital that each individual attending registers under their own name. If a colleague can no longer attend, and you wish to come in their place, please cancel the original space and rebook under your own name by logging into the SDP website.

Our staff will work as fast as possible to register attendees when the doors open at 10:00 am at the Lennox Suite entrance. Please bear with us as we check people in quickly and efficiently.

Top Tip: Don't arrive first thing! Whilst registration opens at 10:00 am, SDP recommends arriving later on in the day to beat the registration queues. All exhibitors at Meet the Buyer 2023 are expected to be available until 4:00 pm, and in the past, afternoons have tended to be slightly quieter, with shorter queues.

Be sure to keep yourself busy while you wait! While in the queue for registration, we recommend that you:

• Ensure that you are pre-registered for the event via the SDP website;
• Rehearse pitching your business to buyers;
• Check out our action-packed agenda to plan your visit; and
• Check out our list of exhibitors and create a list of stands you wish to visit!

Unable to Attend?

If you cannot attend the event, please cancel via the link sent to you in the Event Confirmation email, login to the SDP website to manage your booking, or email info@sdpscotland.co.uk at least 48 hours before the event.

There is Still Time to Register!

If you haven't already, be sure to book your free place in advance! Businesses of all sizes, especially micro, small, and medium-sized businesses and social enterprises, are eligible to attend Meet the Buyer 2023 for free.
