What can suppliers expect from Aberdeen City Council, Aberdeenshire Council and Highland Council at the Meet the Buyer North event on 7 September?

Aberdeen City, Aberdeenshire and Highland Council is exhibiting together and collectively want to see the North of Scotland prosper economically as a result of COVID-19 and Brexit having had a strong impact across all areas of the country. The Councils are keen to engage with as many suppliers as possible in order to make you aware of future opportunities which

may be of interest, and to enable you to get you ready for these opportunities as they arise, especially as we move towards a Net Zero economy.

Suppliers can expect to hear about those new opportunities and will have the chance to speak directly to members of the Commercial & Procurement Shared Service who will be able to offer some more information on how and when you can bid for them.

In addition there will be updated information on the commodity categories within each of the Councils so that suppliers can see were the three councils spend its money and the size of the opportunity for suppliers.
