What can suppliers expect from Scottish Wholesale Association at the Meet the Buyer North event on 12 September?

The Scottish Wholesale Association (SWA) is the official trade association for Scotland's food and drink wholesaling businesses. It operates within six key pillars, liaising between its members, suppliers and the wider food and drink trade:

1. Liaison - SWA liaise between its members and the 15,000+ people employed within the industry
2. Lobbying - SWA lobby the Scottish Parliament and Government
3. Legislation - SWA provides practical advice, support and compliance materials in several key areas
4. Training - SWA runs a comprehensive training programme tailored to the needs of its members
5. Achievers - SWA's annual awards initiative, Achievers, is designed to raise standards and recognise the professionalism of its members
6. Conference - SWA hosts an annual conference, bringing together wholesalers, suppliers and other key trade organisations to network and learn from one another
