Lanarkshire Supplier Event

Over 100 SME’s and Tier 1 contractors traveled from across Scotland to learn more about the City Deal in Lanarkshire at a Supplier Event held in Hamilton on 6th November 2015.

Presentations from the City Deal PMO, South and North Lanarkshire Councils and the Supplier Development Programme explained the scale of the City Deal projects and the opportunities it will create for SME’s. Following the presentations, an open ‘marketplace’ offered delegates the chance to speak one-to-one with representatives from all City Deal areas, as well as support organisations including Business Gateway, FSB and Lanarkshire Chamber.

The next regional event will be held in Glasgow in February. Details will be published on the Events Calendar as soon as they are available.
