CMAL publishes Pin notice for Engagement Events for Contractors, Professional Services, Communities & The Third Sector - Port Infrastructure

CMAL wish to engage with the market to gain an understanding of interest from organisations & stakeholders for the following:  

ENGINEERING TECHNICAL PROFESSIONAL AND SUPPORT SERVICES - Through talking to the market, CMAL will assess the options for procuring services to establish the best approaches for CMAL, stakeholders and suppliers

CONSTRUCTION & MAINTENANCE OF PORT INFRASTRUCTURE AND MACHINERY IN A MARINE ENVIRONMENT - Stakeholder engagement is requested from interested parties not limited to organisations including Consultants, Contractors, SME’s including Micro, Supported Businesses, Third Sector, Councils, Community Liaison Officers, Communities & Environmental Groups for the purposes of Community Benefits and Environment - the list is not exhaustive.

WHY ENGAGE WITH CMAL

CMAL want to understand what they can do to help you when bidding for future Port Infrastructure work.  They are developing a new strategy for procurement of future works & services and are keen to get your input on how they can make that work for businesses and to understand any potential barriers you may have to working with them.

CMAL want to hear what services local businesses and social enterprises can offer to help them understand how they can provide more sustainable & cost effective solutions.

These sessions provide an open forum for all types of businesses and third sector organisations to connect with CMAL staff and hear about upcoming opportunities in an informal environment of the drop-in sessions to understand the needs of local communities and work with them to develop opportunities and improvements.

Your insights and expertise are vital in helping CMAL deliver community benefits and sustainable outcomes. Whether you’re a seasoned professional or a passionate community advocate, your voice matters.

On the day, representatives from the Supplier Development Programme will also be on hand to provide help and guidance to SMEs and third sector organisations on how to get tender ready.
