Forestry and Land Scotland seek supplier practices on carbon emissions reporting

Forestry and Land Scotland logo

Forestry and Land Scotland is looking for suppliers and contractors to complete a short survey on your current practices around carbon emissions reporting.

The survey should be completed by those who have a role in managing a business’s carbon/greenhouse gas emissions and/or those who manage bid writing for tender opportunities.

Forestry and Land Scotland will help inform how it will go about identifying, monitoring, and setting reduction targets for its Scope 3 Emissions (specifically supply chain emissions). FLS wants to ensure that potential future suppliers get an opportunity to inform FLS’s future processes for managing the emissions associated with its contracts.

FLS wants to reassure you as a supplier that responding to this survey will in no way impact your ability to bid for work with Forestry and Land Scotland and will not be used in reference to any of your bids, current or future. This is purely an information gathering exercise to help inform its processes going forward and to seek feedback from suppliers.

The survey closes on 1 March 2022.
