Hub South West - 6 new projects reach preferred bidder stage

It’s been a busy summer at hub with 6 new projects reaching ‘Preferred Bidder’ stage. With a number of other projects in development, we can see no immediate end to this, so it’s a great time to keep in touch with the hub team and with the opportunities coming up.

The projects below have reached ‘Preferred Bidder’ stage and over the next 6-12 months will go through the development of the design and market testing phases, with opportunities for our supply chain at every level.

Morgan Sindall are preferred bidder for North Lanarkshire’s Council’s Early Learning and Childcare Expansion Programme, to build 9 nurseries to a value of c£8m

Graham Construction have been appointed for a similar programme for East Ayrshire Council, 3 nurseries in Stewarton, Cumnock and KIlmaurs with a project value in excess of £6m.

Graham has also been awarded St Michael’s Wynd, one of 3 lots affordable housing lots awarded for North Ayrshire Council.

Ashleigh, having won Tarryholme Residential Disability Unit and the Quarry Road Leisure/ office development in Irvine earlier in the year, have been appointed to build 2 further lots worth c£20m with a further 3 lots still to be tendered.
