International Opportunity: Region Stockholm’s Extended Metro Supplier Day

The Supplier Development Programme is raising the profile of an international supplier day in Stockholm, Sweden, in conjunction with Scottish Enterprise.

Region Stockholm’s Extended Metro Administration invites you to attend Supplier Day 2019. An entire day will be devoted to a presentation in central Stockholm of its exciting projects and future procurement opportunities. The Supplier Day activities are directed towards companies in the building and civil engineering sectors and suppliers of, for example, escalators, lifts and ventilation systems.

When? 12 November 2019
Where? City Conference Centre, Barnhusgatan 12–14 in central Stockholm, Sweden

The day commences with a seminar that is addressed in particular to those companies previously haven’t carried out contract works in Sweden. Included among the information given during this session will be data on how the procurements will be conducted, demands to be met relating to work environment, as well as taxes and social insurance fees.

Registration and exhibitions from 8.30 a.m. and project information from 10 a.m. The activities will end at about 4 p.m. Lunch and coffee will be served during the course of the day.

A detailed programme and practical information will be mailed to participants a few weeks before the Suppliers’ Day. The same information will also be made available at nyatunnelbanan.sll.se/upphandling.

The final date for application is 21 October. If you register your interest to attend and then for some reason are unable to take part, it is important that you let us know – otherwise we will be forced to charge you a cancellation fee of SEK 500 per absent participant. It is, however, possible to replace a person who cancels by someone else from the same company.

Please note that the Extended Metro Administration will be filming and taking photos of the various activities during the course of the day for publication in their own channels. If you do not wish to be included in the films and photos, please indicate this when you register.
